Putting station favorites Ben Harper and the Decemberists together already makes for an eclectic pairing but add to the mix bluegrass singer Allison Krauss, an ABBA tribute band and Sublime among other bands and you?ve got yourself one chameleon of a stage. The Maymoor Summer Concert series may only be in an outdoor amphitheater in the Seattle suburb of Redmond but, for musicians such as the Decemberists, getting to play in the same concert series as twenty-six-time Grammy Award winner Allison Krauss, can do nothing but good for their careers. The genres of music that will be played are as varied as the bands with some acts being completely one genre such as bluegrass, which is the case with Krauss, and with other acts being mixes of reggae/roots, blues, psychedelic rock and many other genres.
