Just curious about what impact some of these cartoons with adult and sexual humor have on kids.
I think it's fairly obvious that they are geared on getting kids to watch them while attracting an adult audience as well.
Is this all right in your opinion? or is this exposing kids to adult themes too early.
yea I agree it does get both a kid and adult audience. Obviously some shows aren't meant for young children but most kids shouldn't have a problem with shows with some adult humor like Family guy, south park, just to name a couple.
Those cartoons are definitely bad for kids! Kids are visual and they will remember what they see over what they hear.
Most tv is bad for kids today. That's why we have ratings, but unfortunately many parents of today's younsters are still young themselves and enjoy that cr*p. all the more reason to not have kids until they themselves have grown up. when I hear the expression that the world is going down the tubes, I agree? from tv tubes to youtube! 
I think it's a bad idea for parnts to let kids watch something like South Park, but just because of the cursing. Adult humor is okay, since most of it just goes over kids' heads anyway.
Well I know when I let my 4 year old watch South Park he comes away saying all kinds of things he shouldn't say? Oh I'll have to tell ya sometime, Lord Kermit, what he said to his grandma after watching that show. Hmm, you look a lil different, have you done something new with your hair?
