A junior, Siegfried fired a 2-under 69 to win the Class 4 Sectional 2 tournament at The Missouri Bluffs. He drove the 372-yard par-4 13th hole, then drained a 50-foot downhill putt for eagle, the highlight of his round. He finished the day with the eagle, three birdies and three bogeys. Siegfried was coming off a victory in the district tournament at The Landings at Spirit Golf Club, where he shot even-par 72 and won on a scorecard playoff. During the regular season, he was a medalist in five dual matches and sported a 2.5-over-par stroke average for nine holes.
